Junkin

My Mom is moving. This may not seem like a big deal to you. It is. I am happy with my mothers decision to rid herself of unnecessary material things. But there is a small matter of concern. She was hoarding before hoarding was cool. Initially, going through almost four decades of stuff was a little overwhelming. Now, I'm giddy. All of these years, my mother has been holding out on me. Who knew? We grew up in a pre-civil war farmhouse on 7 acres in North Potomac, Maryland. It was beautiful. I spent my childhood surrounded by Farmhouse Style, Thrift Chic, and DIY parents. My Mom just passed the torch...and her junk to me. So I created this blog to document my obsession with junkin'. Hope you enjoy.
